With the COVID-19 pandemic in full flight over the last few months, businesses and facilities all around the world shut their doors and effectively went into hibernation to wait out the worst of the outbreak. Shops, salons, and even certain medical/health-related establishments were forced to cease business for a time, and physiotherapy studios certainly got caught up in this wave of closures.
With some light at the end of the tunnel starting to emerge, however, businesses have been opening back up with special measures in place. Physiotherapy in Darwin is an important service for many people, also and especially during this pandemic, so we at Stepping Stones In Life Therapy Service are welcoming clients, with some rules in place.
With that in mind, here are some of the regulations in place for getting physiotherapy during COVID-19.
Enhanced Cleaning And Hygiene
We are taking our cleaning and hygiene protocols to a different level in order to ensure that the virus does not affect our work space. You will notice a higher degree of hand washing with antibacterial soap from our staff, and we request that you too make use of our sanitising stations when you come into the offices.
In anticipation of reopening, all of our staff members were required to undergo a course of online training to ensure that they are educated on all of the new regulations, and ready to put them into action for clients. We are at the forefront of knowledge when it comes to doing our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
If you are in need of some physiotherapy in Darwin and are happy to go along with all of the guidelines and regulations put in place, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
